Permanent Mourning Observances for Jews of Europe Suggested in Palestine

Permanent mourning for the Jews of Europe was suggested today by leading institutions in the Yishuv.

Among the proposals are: setting aside one day each week during which weddings and entertainments would be prohibited, painting black Mogen Davids on all walls, wearing yellow Mogen David buttons; establishing black-painted corners in all synagogues where mourning prayers could be recited.
