Reliable reports of the mass-murder of thirteen Dutch Jewish physicians in the notorious Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria were received today by Dutch circles here.
The reports state that last June the doctors, all of whom were attached to the staff of the Amsterdam Jewish hospital, were deported to Mauthausen. Recently the families of all thirteen received identical notices on the same day stating that they had died in the camp. There is no doubt that the doctors were the victims of a mass-murder by the Nazis, the Dutch informants emphasized.
The Belgian Government today learned that the noted Belgian Jewish sculptor, Maurice wolf, has died in a German fortress prison where he was sent after having been charged with distributing the underground newspaper “La Voix des Belges.” Wolf served in the Belgian army in the present war.
