Efficiency of Jewish Units in Libyan Battle Praised by British High Command

The efficiency of the Jewish signal units and of the First Camouflage Company of Royal Engineers which consists mostly of Jews is praised today in dispatches by the British military command emphasizing their “good work during the advance in the Libyan desert.” Several Jewish engineering units advanced with the British forces, including five units which were under the command of a Jewish major.
