A resolution requesting the Zionist organizations in America to call a congress of all American Jews for the purpose of formulating demands for a Jewish commonwealth, was adopted by the semi-annual conference of the Hapoel Hamizrachi of America, Zionist Orthodox Labor Party, held at the Hotel Abbey in New York.

Principal speakers at the conference were Dr. Simon Federbusch, president of the Hapoel Hamizrachi of America, Emanuel Neumann of the American Emergency Committee for Zionist Affairs and Dr. I. Aloalay, senator and former Chief Rabbi of Yugoslavia. Most of the speakers denounced the attitude of the rabbis who are organizing the American Council for Judaism to combat political Zionism.
