Malcolm MacDonald, former Secretary for Colonies and now British High Commissioner to Canada, may be one of the British representatives to the proposed Anglo-American refugee parley in Ottawa, according to reports circulating in usually well-informed political circles here today.

A protest meeting in Liverpool today, addressed by the Anglican and Catholic bishops of the city, adopted a resolution expressing horror at the massacre of Europe’s Jews by the Nazis and hailing the declaration that those responsible for the atrocities shall be punished. The resolution urged the Government to take all possible steps to secure sanctuary for those persons who succeed in fleeing from Nazi-held countries.
