A reception for Anna and Maxa Nordau, wife and daughter, respectively, of the late author and Zionist leader, Dr. Max Nordau, will be held here at the Hotel Astor on Sunday to mark the publication of their biography of their husband and father.
The publication of the biography-which will also appear in Spanish in Buenc Aires and in Hebrew in Palestine-marks the twentieth anniversary of the death of Dr. Nordau, who died in Paris.
CORRECTION
In listing the Jewish organizations with which Mr. George Backer is affiliated, in the Bulletin of April 19, the names of the Refugee Economic Corporation and the Palestine Economic Corporation were inadvertantly omitted. Mr. Backer is now in Bermuda as one of the government experts to the U.S. delegation to the Anglo-American Conference on refugees. He is a member of the boards of both the above organizations.
