The Committee for a Jewish Army of Stateless and Palestinian Jews, under the chairmanship of Senator Edwin C. Johnson, today issued a statement expressing disappointment at the results of the Bermuda Conference on Refugees. “To Hitler, Bermuda was again convincing proof that the United Nations are neither ready nor willing to take up his challenge to exterminate the Jewish population in Europe,” the statement declared.
