Bulgarians who are friendly to Jews and who are found guilty of obstructing the expulsion of the Jews from Sofia and other cities, will share the fate of the Jews, the Sofia radio warned today quoting an article from the Bulgarian newspaper Vecher.

Reports reaching here today from Bulgaria confirm that while Jews who can prove their Bulgarian citizenship are being sent to the northern part of Bulgaria, alien Jews are being deported to Poland. One report estimates that 12,000 Jews have been deported from Thrace and Macedonia during the last two months.

The Bukarester Tageblat, reaching here today from Rumania, reports that all immovable property left behind by Jews expelled from Rumanian cities will be auctioned off publicly unless other arrangements are made by the central office for the “Rumanization” of Jewish belongings.
