Only Few Jews Will Be Left in Amsterdam After Deportations, Nazis Say

Nazi authorities in occupied Holland today formally announced that “Amsterdam will be cleared of all its Jews, with a few exceptions, “the Dagens Nyheter, a Swedish newspaper reports.

The announcement emphasized that “the deportation of the Jews from Amsterdam will be a decisive step in the solution of the Jewish problem in Holland” since the Jews were expelled from other towns in Holland several months ago. No indication was given as to where the Amsterdam Jews will be deported.
