Fearing an Allied landing in Sicily, the Italian authorities have transferred 16,000 interned Jews in various camps there to the north-Eastern part of Italy in the vicinity of the Isonzo river, it was reported here today.

The report states that the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem has fallen into disgrace with the Italian Ministry of Propaganda. The Italian radio station at Bari, however, continues to broadcast anti-Jewish propaganda in Arabic directed to the Arabs in Palestine, Syria and Iraq.
