A minor incident reported in the newspaper Social Demokraten today is indicative of the hostility of the Danish population to the anti-Semitic agitation of the Nazi occupation authorities and the Danish collaborationists.
The Social Demokraten reports that the staff of a large Copenhagen tailoring firm, Scheuer & Morch, decided unanimously to boycott the company restaurant because its manager insulted several Jewish members of the staff. The employees declared that they would continue to refuse to patronize the eating place until the management was changed.
