David Rosenbloom Dies Suddenly at 56; Funeral Services Today

Funeral services will be held here tomorrow for David Rosenbloom, prominent Jewish leader, who died suddenly in Hartford, Connecticut, yesterday, at the age of 56.

Mr. Rosenbloom was a member of the executive committee of the American Jewish Committee and chairman of its public relations committee. He had been active in Jewish communal and philanthropic affairs for many years. From 1934 until 1937 he served as vice-president and treasurer of the National Broadcasting Co. and until 1941 was treasurer and general manager of the New York Post.

Mr. Rosenbloom was born in New York City in 1887 and was educated there and at Harvard College, from where he was graduated in 1907. During World War I he served as a Second Lieutenant in the Heavy Artillery.
