Dr. Solomon Goldman of Chicago, former president of the Zionist Organization of America, has been given the Louis Ginzberg citation by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, it was announced here today.
A part of the citation read: “Through your studies, your writings and your speeches you have contributed greatly to the advancement of knowledge of Jewish affairs and thought, just as through your singular gifts as an interpreter and teacher of the faith of our fathers you have inspired many to a reverent understanding of our tradition.”
