Nazi Papers Indicate Some Jews May Still Be Living in Kovno

An indication that despite previous reports to the contrary, some Jews may still be living in the Lithuanian capital of Kovno, was seen today in an item carried in German newspapers received here.

The Nazi papers report that the German commissar in Kovno has threatened to withdraw the licenses of all news dealers “who sell newspapers to Jews, whose identity is known, despite the regulation forbidding such sales.”
