Jews Executed in Belgium, Holland, Rumania for Resisting Nazis

A report appearing in the Dutch Nazi press received here reveals that Rudolph Baumgarten, 23, a Jewish resident of Amsterdam, was one of the eleven Dutchmen executed by the Nazi military authorities for alleged complicity in the destruction of the population records of Amsterdam last Spring. The raid and the accompanying explosion were carried out by men wearing the uniforms of the Dutch police.

A Polish Jew by the name of Hirsch Dorzynski was among nine Belgian hostages recently executed by the Germans for alleged attacks on members of the Nazi occupation forces, according to another report reaching here today.

In the city of Galati in Rumania three Jews have been sentenced to death by a military court on the charge that they were in possession of arms, the Nazi Transocean news service reported.
