About 6,000 Polish Jews who sought refuge in Rumania have been turned over to the Germans by Premier Ian Antonescue since the beginning of the war, it is reported here today. Most of the refugees originally came to Bucharest, but were subsequently ordered to move to provincial cities and were eventually handed over the Nazis.

The Donau Zeitung, Nazi newspaper published in Belgrade, reports today that Bucharest police have arrested many Polish-Jewish refugees and fined them 3,000,000 lei, each, on charges that they possessed false emigration visas.
