Jewish Writers’ Organizations Thank President for Rebuke to Argentina

The Jewish people of America and of all the world will be eternally indebted to President Roosevelt for his vigorous attack on the Argentine Government for banning the Jewish press, it was stated today in a telegram sent the President by the Jewish Writers Union and the Jewish section of the International Pen Club.

The wire expressed the “deep gratitude and admiration” of the Jewish writers and pointed out that the President’s stand expressed “the true sentiments and traditions of the American people.”
