Premier Nahas Pasha of Egypt has told Arab leaders with whom he conferred recently in connection with the formation of a Pan-Arab federation that the Arab world must recognize the presence of the Jews in Palestine as a continuing factor in its plans for the future and must seek some way of cooperation with them, it is reported here today by informed sources.
It is also reported that Nahas Pasha would welcome a delegation from Palestine to join in the Arab federation talks here, provided the Palestinian Arab leaders can agree on the composition of such a delegation. No official invitation has been extended to the Arabs in Palestine.
The Egyptian premier’s talks with the Syrian delegation, which were scheduled to end last night will be concluded on Wednesday, it was announced today. There is no indication yet as to if and when the Lebanon or Yemen delegations will arrive here nor when the conferences with the emissaries of Ibn Saud will be resumed.
