David Schweitzer, special representative of the Hias-Ica Emigration Association, who arrived here this week from New York to discuss post-war emigration problems with Jewish organizations in England, today held a conference with Jewish leaders here. The representatives of the various Jewish groups expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Hias-Ica in plans for coordinating the work of refugee migration during and after the war.

In a move to intensify the campaign against anti-Semitism in Britain, representatives of congregations throughout the country met here today at the invitation of the Board of Deputies of British Jews to discuss the part the synagogue can play in combating anti-Jewish propaganda. The meeting voted full support to the Board’s efforts in this sphere.
