Balfour Day was marked in Berlin at a protest meeting arranged by pro-Nazi Arabs, the official German news agency, DNB, reports today. DNB says the meeting was held in the “Central Islamic Institute” and was addressed by the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem and Rashid Ali el Galani, pro-Nazi premier of Iraq before he was driven from the country by British troops.
