The only Jews in northern Italy who are safe, at present, from molestation by the Germans and fascists are some 3,000 who are nationals of either Turkey, Portugal or Spain, the report adds. The Rome radio announced last night that the Mussolini government had ordered the arrest of all Italian and foreign Jews and the confiscation of all their property. Children of mixed marriages will be placed under police supervision but will not be arrested, the broadcast said.
