The American Fund for Palestinian Institutions, which coordinates separate Palestine educational, cultural, and social welfare appeals, today reported that in 1943 its income from 210 communities was $140,000. In 1944 the fund will give support to 50 beneficiaries, aiding 60,000 persons, with a budget of $400,000 as its national goal.

The organization was established to aid American contributors by including institutions whose merit and finances have been thoroughly investigated. It also gives deserving Palestinian causes the opportunity to share proportionately in an equitable distribution of funds raised in America. In winding up its second year of activity, the fund announced that it has thus far sent $175,000 to Palestine.
