Joe McWilliams, New York anti-Semitic street rioter, is among eight persons who have been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of attempting to conspire with the Nazis to overthrow democracy and to destroy the morale of our armed forces, it was announced today by Attorney General Francis Biddle.

Also indicted were several leaders of the German-American Bund including Gerhardt Wilhelm Kunze and August Klapproth, who were sent to jail recently for five years for advising draft dodgers. Several active anti-Semites, who were included in a similar indictment drawn up last year, have been dropped from the present list, apparently because they could not be directly charged with working for the Nazis. It is hoped that the person whose indictments were announced today will be brought to trial by March 1.
