The Iraq Government today issued an official statement describing the Congressmen who sponsored the Palestine resolution in the American House of Representatives and in the Senate, as “Zionist agents,” and their action as “a mere tendentious piece of propaganda which cannot have positive results.”
A report from Beirut states that a resolution was introduced today in the Lebanese Chamber of Deputies denouncing “attempts to establish a Jewish national home in Palestine” as a threat not only to Palestine but also to Lebanon.
