The Synagogue Council of America has issued a call to Rabbis of Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Congregations in America to hold special services as soon as the invasion of Europe by the Allied forces is announced. Rabbis and congregations have been urged to keep synagogues open all day following the announcement of the invasion, and to have a special service at 8 o’clock in the evening.
