A resolution strongly condemning racial and religious discrimination was adopted here at the convention of the Quebec Command of the Canadian Legion in which war veterans from all parts of the province participated.

On the subject of immigration the veterans declared “that Canada can assimilate many thousands of additional population” but voted that the doors be opened only after all ex-servicemen, women and war workers are properly employed in civilian occupations.
