The Federation of Polish Jews of Canada today cabled to the Polish Government in London protesting against the sentences imposed by a Polish court-martial on Jewish soldiers who wished to transfer from the Polish Army to the British.

“Our organization feels that condemning these soldiers who were acting in good faith showing their willingness to sacrifice their lives for the common holy cause of fighting Nazism with all its doctrines is a miscarriage of common justice,” the cable said. “It also creates unnecessary ill feeling among the Jewish people and general public in this time when Poland needs all the good faith and friendship possible.”
