Forty students who were graduated from the Training Course on Migration Problems arranged jointly by the Hias and the Hicem under the auspices of the New School for Social Research received certificates last night at a formal ceremony held at the New School, presided over by Dr. H. Staudinger, dean of the Faculty of Political Science. The course was arranged in connection with post-war Jewish emigration activities.

Principal speakers at the ceremony were, in addition to Dr. Staudinger, Max Gottschalk, president of the Hicem, and Abraham Herman, president of the Hias. They stressed the value of the course which was initiated by Ilja Dijour, Hicem’s executive secretary, and expressed their thanks to the New School of Social Research and to the forty lecturers who participated in the course. Hyman Lev, one of the graduates, spoke in behalf of the students.
