A minister open-air mass-meeting to protest the extermination of the Jews in Europe – especially the Jews of Hungary who are menaced by imminent destruction, -will be held in Madison Square here on Monday under the auspices of the American Jewish Conference, in cooperation with the American Jewish Committee, and other Jewish groups.
In large newspaper advertisements calling on the people of New York to attend the meeting, the conference stated that: “Millions of Jews in Axis-dominated Europe have been brutally and sadistically murdered by the Nazi borders. They have been systematically starved and tortured, moved down by machine guns and poisoned in gas chambers. We cannot remain silent onlookers.”
