The Democratic Union of Poles in Switzerland, comprising several thousand civil and military internees, issued a statement here today pledging that religious and racial discrimination will be barred in post-war Poland.

Stressing that Jews will have the same rights as all other citizens, the statement promises reparations for the sufferings inflicted upon the Jews during the German occupation. It points out that these principles have already been invoked in the liberated sections of the country which are being governed temporarily by the Committee of National Liberation.
