Jewish Workers Alliance Opens Four-day National Conference in New York

The annual conference of the Jewish National Workers’ Alliance, labor Zionist fraternal order, opened here today at the Hotel Astor, attended by delegates from more than 100 cities in the United States and Canada. The conference will last four days.

The Alliance, which has a membership of over twenty-five thousand, raised over a million dollars during the past year for the upbuilding of Palestine, through the Geverkshaften Campaign, for the Histadruth, Jewish National Fund, United Jewish Appeal and other Palestinian institutions. The Alliance branches also, raised large sums of money for the Red Cross, United Service Organizations, National War Fund, and other war activities.
