Testifying today before the Senate Education and labor Sub-Committee’s hearing on a measure to establish a Permanent Fair Employment Practice Commission to fight racial discrimination in employment, Mrs. Agnes Waters, leader of “The Mothers of America,” attacked Jews and Negroes as being behind the bill.

“Why should Negroes and Jews be given the jobs white men?” she stated. “Jews hold the finest jobs in the government. They came here a generation ago and rose from peddlers to become the richest merchants of this country. They own most of the stores, theatres and movies, and became millionaires. If we wanted to really deal with them, we would refuse to buy in their stores or go to their movies, And we will do it if they get obnoxious.”
