The Bulgarian Government announced today that it has granted visas to a group of Rumanian Jewish children who are en route to Palestine. The announcement, which was made in a Hebrew-language broadcast over the Sofia radio, said that the Minister of Communication has placed two railway coaches at the disposal of the children, who are expected to arrive here tomorrow.

Many Jews continue to return to this city, daily, from their two-year exile in provincial “ghetto villages.” Most of them are finding it almost impossible to find homes or jobs, and their situation is critical.
