Palestine Government Allows Tel Aviv to Use Land of Interned Germans for Health Center

The Palestine Government has agreed to turn over 100 dunams of land in the German colony of Sarona, near Tel Aviv, for use as a health center by the municipality, it was disclosed today by Mayor Israel Rokach.

Jewish leaders had urged the government to allow new immigrants to dwell in the vacant homes in Sarona of interned Germans, but their pleas were rejected.
