A warehouse of furniture which the Germans stole from Jewish homes, but which they did not have time to ship to the Reich before retreating from Paris is threatened with destruction by the rising waters of the Seine. The press today carries an appeal from the Federation of Patriotic Youth Unions for volunteers to help move the contents of the warehouse to dry ground.
