Histadruth Decides to Establish Chair for Labor Movements at Hebrew University

The Central Committee of the Histadruth, Palestine Federation of Labor, today decided to establish at the Hebrew University a chair for the study of the world labor movement. The chair will be named after Berl Katznelson, late Histadruth leader.

The Mizrachi Laborite Party today decided to honor Henrietta Szold by naming a synagogue after her in one of its agricultural settlements, Sdei Elihau. This is the first time in the history of Palestine that a synagogue will beer the name of a woman.
