The Jewish Agency office here and the Board of Deputies of British Jews today issued statements expressing sorrow at the death of Llcyd George. Both pointed out that it was while he was Prime Minister that the Balfour Declaration was issued, and that he, personally, was in favor of a Jewish national home.
