Revisionist Leader in Lithuania Killed While Leading Jewish Partisans Against Nazis

Joseph Glasman, former head of the Revisionist “Betar” organization in Lithuania, was killed leading a guerrilla detachment against the Germans at the time the Red Army was approaching Vilna, it was learned here today. Glasman, for some time, was chief of the German-appointed gnetto police in Vilna, but secretly remained head of the Jewish underground.
