Legislation to safeguard the interests and welfare of industrial workers in Palestine will become effective in a year, according to the Department of Commerce.
The legislation is based substantially on the United Kingdom Factories Aet of 1937, modified to meet conditions in Palestine. The Department of Labor of Palestine will administer the legislation.
