JDC Reaches Agreement with South African Group on Coordination of Relief Activities

An agreement has been concluded here between the Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish War Appeal of South Africa under which the JWA’s relief and rehabilitation activities will be coordinated with the JDC, it was announced today.

The agreement, which was signed by Dr. Judah L. Magnus for the JDC and Leit felt for the JWA, allows the South African organization to designate specific activities for which the funds it raises are to be used, and provides that it will furnish relief within Palestine in cooperation with the Jewish Agency and other groups.
