Forty-six grants totalling $88,500 were announced yesterday by the Julius Rosenwald Fund. The grants, which went to both Negroes and Whites, were given for research and creative work in the fields of music, literature, race relations, trade unionism and art.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
