The first Zionist mass-meeting in many years took place here last night as a result of the lifting by the Brazilian Government of the ban on the Zionist movement. The hall was decorated with the Blue-White Zionist flag and with flags of the United Nations. A representative of the Communist Party was among the speakers who brought greetings to the gathering.

It was learned here today that the Brazilian Government intends to introduce more liberal immigration regulations and to abolish the restrictions against Jewish refugees who are natives of Axis countries.
