The Oslo radio said today that only 12 of the 734 Jews deported from Norway by the Germans are believed to have survived. The others are presumed to have been murdered.

Of the 1,800 Jews who lived in Norway before the German invasion, 825 succeeded in escaping, the broadcast said, while the Nazis deported 734, including 180 women and children. Of the deportees, 470 were Norwegian citizens.
