A detachment of the Jewish Brigade, which is now stationed in Austria, should be sent to Berlin to participate in the Allied victory parade that is scheduled to be held in the German capital, Lord Strabolgi said last night, addressing a meeting called by the Jewish Army Committee.
He urged that Jewish veterans, and especially members of the Brigade, should be given free land in Palestine. Britain, he continued, needs a friendly Palestine as a guarantee against trouble in the Middle East.
