Expansion of Palestine’s railroad network so that it may become part of the Capotown-to-London line was predicted here today by M.M. Kirby, manager of the Palestine railroad system, opening a new branch between Haifa and Naharia.

Kirby said that the government was also endeavoring to improve and expand the country’s railroads with a view to the tourist trade that is expected after hostilities have ceased.
