The Lublin radio today reported that Dr. Emil Sommerstein and Abraham Berman, two leaders of the Jews in liberated Poland, who were active in the Zionist movement before the outbreak of the war. are en-route to London. The British Foreign Office confirmed to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that the two are due to arrive in London within a few days.

The Zionist Review, official British Zionist organ, today took issue with the proposal by the Manchester Guardian that a small Jewish state be established in a partitioned Palestine, thus solving the Palestine problem, The publication emphasized that Palestine has already been partitioned twice and that the Jewish Agency will not agree to any plan which involves further partition of the country.
