About 20,000 American Jews have enrolled in the American Red Mogen Dovid as contributing members in support of Palestine’s first-aid agency, it was announced today by Congressman Emanuel Celler, one of the National Sponsors of the American Red Mognen Dovid and chairman of its current membership effort.
“The aid of the 20,000 contributing members has been used to provide the Red Mogen Dovid in Palestine with vitally needed equipment as well as with cash,” the announcement said, “In addition to the ten fully equipped American ambulances which were shipped to Palestine last year, 100 extra embulance tires, 20,000 battle dressings, 160.000 ampules of iodine, ten kits of emergency surgical instruments, five cases of ambulance accessories and other supplies have been shipped in recent months.”
