Greek Minister Says Those Who Stole Jewish Property to Be Prosecuted Unless They Return It

All persons who stole Jewish property during the German occupation of Greece will be fully prosecuted unless they return it to their rightful owners, Vice-Minister of Finance Michael Pezmazolou has informed the Athens representative of the Joint Distribution Committee, it was learned today.

In a lengthy conference with Mr. Israel Jacobson of the JDC, Mr. Pezmazoglou disclosed that he had issued orders to courts throughout Greece to the effect that direct action must be taken against all those who looted homes and shops belonging to Jews.
