The War Crimes Investigation Division of the French Ministry of Justice is collecting data and documents for publication of an official report on anti-Jewish persecutions in France during the German occupation, it was announced today.
The report will be one of a series of publications planned by the Ministry of Information to cover the history of the war. The destruction by the Germans, before they retreated, of most incriminating documents is making the task of the ministry extremaly difficult.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
