First Group of Bulgarian Jews Leaves for Palestine; Given Enthusiastic Send-off

The first contingent of 107 Bulgarian Jews left to day for Palestine. The entire group consists of chalutzim who received training here for agricultural work in Palestine. They were given an enthusiastic send-off at the railway station where the Bulgarian national anthem and Hatikvah were sung.
